So now I found out I need a passport to do the train trip.
I have an identity-card which covers all the places I want to visit, but I MUST have a passport for no apparent reason.

Then I found out about this bus-agency which let me go to Latvia much cheaper than the train ticket.
Everything seemed to be perfect, until it was stated that the bus-trip went through BELARUS.
Well, my ID-card covers all the countries I want to visit, but not Belarus.

So now I probably have to get a passport -.- which costs time and money.

And now everyone is telling me that I should Do it next year.

Seriously, I really really really really really really really really really really really REALLY don't want to wait, I want to GO!

I'm really sad and pissed now >.<

shit..that really sucks, bart...

if you want to do it so bad, then why not just take the train instead of the bus, even if it costs you more? it will mean paying some more, but if you want to go on the trip so bad, then it might be worth it

Yea I thought of doing that, but it would be too chaotic for me by myself I'm afraid

Got a new plan now: tomorrow I'm gonna go to the town hall or however you call it, order a passport and have one in 5 days, leave friday in a week to Latvia, spend some days there, go to Helsinki for one or two days, then go back to Latvia again, and get back @ Sunday afternoon in ze Netherlands. This way I'll have my journey and get to the people I wanna see most (:

It's amazing how short my periods of feeling pissed are :p

Yesterday eve I sent a mail to these people from the buslines, asking if all journeys go through Belarus. This morning I was planning on ordering a passport, but I had a return mail: the busses definately don't go to Belarus, where the heck did I find it on the site? ;D They aren't going through Russia as well! So that means my ID-Card fully supports it

I already accepted the fact that I would go next Friday; now I can leave Monday as well :O

Dunno how long I'll be where. I'll first stay @ Latvia with a friend there (mister Edgar), and check out Riga and other places and chill, then later on I shall check out Tallinn and take the boat to Helsinki and stay with Emma ;D w00t both friends offered me a place in their house to sleep during those days
